My approach involves careful listening with a goal of helping
people to understand themselves better. I am guided by the
words of Maya Angelou - "I've learned that people will forget
what you said, people will forget what you did, but people
will never forget how you made them feel."
I treat depression, anxiety disorders, relationship difficulties (including communication problems and sexual functioning), challenges of life transitions (divorce, health problems, end of life issues, grief work.) In addition to Ph.D. in Psychology, I completed a 2 year program in Family Therapy and Couple Therapy at Philadelphia Child Guidance.
My current fee is $200 per session. I accept Medicare but no other insurance. I do offer a sliding scale.
